Hi Guys

A newbie with a fault, would like some advice.

Just filled up with diesel, stared to pull away ok put the car into sport and foot on the gas and clunk, like hitting a pot hole, no acceleration, just a clunking from the gearbox and gearbox fault on the dash.

Until this point no issues with gears, no noises, every now and then a jerk in 1st when rolling to a roundabout and then accelerating.

Any ideas on how serious the issue may or may not be. Occured Saturday pm so no dealer advice available recovered back to home address.
