Welcome to the forums gloxf2018,
There's two XF ranges. The original X250 introduced in 2007 which ran through to 2015 and the current X260 which replaced it in 2015. Although similar in appearance, they are very different vehicles.

If you are looking at X250, probably have to buy a base XF or Portfolio trim because the R and Supercharged models have dynamic suspension and the computer will be expecting input from the factory dampers. I don't know about X260s. I never looked into lowering because that was the last thing an XF needs. I installed a system from Spires. They sell a system that turns the late model Jaguar "sport sedan" back into a luxury saloon like they used to make. Its ironic that when I was probably your age (guessing), I was having to modify my Mustangs and Supras for autocross because they came from the factory with too soft a suspension for any kind of handling but now that I am old, all modern luxury sedans come race-prepared right out of the box and I have to modify a luxury car to get even a halfway tolerable ride.
Go test drive a few before you start ordering kits. And I mean don't just follow the well-planned smooth route that the salesman will take you on, but drive on some busted up back roads and some twistys and drive through a parking lot with speed bumps. You'll probably decide it doesn't need to be any lower, especially an R with the 20" rims and rubber band tires.
