Default Jaguar xtype 2004 2.1 petrol throttle body problem, help please :)

Hi all,

First time here - I have a 2004 xtype 2.1 petrol - it started making a very weird noise the only way I could describe it I would say more like choking. I found this video on YouTube which is exactly my problem.

I personally think something wrong around the throttle body but not so sure, I unplugged the MAF sensor and it still runs exactly the same but when I unplug the bypass sensor it runs much smoother and that noise goes away.

I wanted to order a replacement throttle body but before I do that I would like some advice. Also the one I see on the web it is got code 2X4U-CB mine read as 2X4U-CC just wondering what is the difference?

It might be just the bypass sensor again not sure.

Hopefully someone knows what is wrong

Many thanks in advance
