Default just getting started

hey guys just joined the forum after reviewing it several times

im a senior (will be 70 in oct) living in sc and just bought a new 2010 liquid silver xk coupe which is fabulous with the new super v8 and GREAT sounding exhaust system got it for 20k off a list of 90k as they were dumping the last of their 10s it has the 20" kalimnos rims which really set the car off

in the past i have owned a 2000 xjr and a 2002 xkr and loved them too i have also owned a bunch of porsches bmws and mbs wife has an 07 mb e350 sport which we bought from her brother with 14k miles

i am a detail nut and a perfectionist which makes it easy for me to enjoy babying the car i had a euro 85 porsche 930 slant nose which i had franz blaum in atlanta build a 485 hp engine for in 85 this was a monster car i showed it coucours at porsches rennfest in 86 and took best of show i plan on showing the new xk too at state events of jcoa

i look forward to being a part of your group

Welcome to the forum Bud!

Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.
