Hello All,
This looks like a great group. I recently bought a 2000 XK8 convertible, 52K miles. This is my second Jag. First was a 150 S I sold in 1967 before departing for overseas. Have kicked myself ever since. At least with the 150 I could open the bonnet and know what I was looking at, and have a fair chance at replacing a defective part. With the XK8, who knows? With advice from you all. at least, I may be able to correctly diagnose issues, and correct a few myself.

John

Welcome to the forum, know what you mean about modern engines. You open the bonnet, and hmmm, where's the engine? I know it has one, somewhere.

Hello and welcome to jaguarforums.com. I know that you are anxious to get started and we are anxious to meet you and talk about your car. We have a baseline / criteria that must be met before full access can be granted. Please enjoy the forum and be patient once the baseline has been satisfied full access will be granted. Please continue to post and accept my welcome to the forum.

Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

Thanks all for the warm welcome. I think I now have the signature right, ie. with car data. Guess I'll know as soon as I post this.
