Hello everyone,

I just joined and am looking forward to participating in this forum. I have owned a 1995 XJ6, a 1995 XJS, a 1999 XJR, and currently own a 2000 VDP Supercharged.

I am considering buying a 2005 XJR. The photos I received show a car with a chrome grill trim, and I was always had the impression that all XJRs had the body colored grill trim? Am I correct? The car is 120 miles away, and I don't want to go that distance to see it if it may not be a real XJR.
