Default Just made it aboard

Have plans to get my '89 xjs out of storage and back to everyday use.
Guess I'll need to empty what little old petrol there is and fill up with fresh, I heard that putting about 1/4 tank + injector cleaner in will help clean the injectors better cause 1/4 tank to 1 bottle = more concentrated cleaner. Don't know if this good or bad advise any opions before I muck things up?

Welcome to this friendly Forum. I see you've already had good advice from Jamey on this, I'd stick with what he says.
Well worth putting your car details + mileage (but not the VIN!) in your signature for easy access.

Welcome to the forum dwm69,

+1 to Jamey and Steve's advice.

These cats need to be woken up gently after a long sleep. Hope it's soon running like a top again.

In addition to the XJS section, please visit the North East US Regional section North East US - ME NH VT MA RI CT NJ NY PA - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum for other members and events in your region.

Enjoy the forum.

Wow, thanks for the replies, this is a great place. It will be good to get to know the locals in my neck of the woods.
I have already received some some sound advise on getting my kitty purring again
