hello everyone, I'm from the west midlands county in england, and as such i grew up amongst people that built jags, mg's, lotus', morgan, amongst others, it is no surprise then that these cars have a special place in my heart, my wife is a kentuckian whose dream car just happens to be the xj6, so i bought an xj6 for her and i have a project car in an mgb'64 unfortunately funds are tight and my project seems to take a back burner to keeping her car on the road, lol. if i had to choose an ultimate dream car in tip top condition i would have to pick a morgan but an aston martin would run it close and again they're both from the glorious west midlands, land of grawty pud, grey peas and bacon, spotted dick and fill belly!
i'm not a mechanic myself but i'm intelligent so with help from this forum i hope to solve most of my problems without expensive garage bills.

 

welcome to the forum hamanjm! (if that's an acronym for something else, I sure can't figure it out). The XJ6 is a great engine/transmission combination, shouldn't be much mechanical problems, I bet its mainly electrical that you're having some issues with...or perhaps suspension?
