Like the title says I've been stalking these forums for the occasional bit of guidance since I acquired my 2013 XK back in 2021. Alas, I've hit a maintenance wall that I can't surmount independently and have decided to emerge from the shadows and join the general population here.
I dangerously like to think I'm fairly capable with a set of tools (no one wants to see a pilot with a gerber), anyway my XK has received an upgraded aluminum thermostat and rear coolant take off flange after replacing the valley hose (which sprung a leak when the previous repair technician had reinstalled it such that it was resting on the accessory drive belt, but that's another story), new front upper wishbones, "new" front end dampers and top mounts (more to follow in a separate post on that), a few other small projects and still working on a configuration that permits a passenger up front with a child seat in the back but so far unsuccessful with that venture.
I'll preemptively thank Graham because I think he's authored quite a few responses that have helped me with a few of my accomplishments so far, and thank you to all the others that have made this forum such a useful repository of information.
