Default Long time lurker - Time to join.

Good evening,

I came across this forum some time ago, after purchasing a Jaguar X Type. Since then I've googled a few times when needing to do something to the car, and every time, I have ended up here reading some of the responses. So thank you :-)

Car: I am on my first Jaguar. A second hand 2.1 litre V6 2002 X type. Went for this one over the newer models as I prefer the traditional Jaguar look as opposed to the current shape. Mind you, if one was to accidentally end up in my ownership without cost, I'd never say no. Some images below of the car.

Location: I now live in country Victoria, in Australia. having grown up in sunny Queensland. Hence the personalised plate on the car "QLANDR".

About me: Im in my 30's and have been married for 7 years now. Two beautiful, cheeky girls, aged 6 & 3... With more planned. I work in a major bank here in Australia... Regretably. They treat staff far worse than customers. I love my car. Always wanted one, but never had the opportunity.

I look forward to meeting some of you & chats in the future.

Regards

Mick

Welcome Mick,

Great Intro. X-Type looks good and I do like the plate.

As you've found the forum in the past, there's no need to tell you how to get to the X-Type section.

Why would anyone leave Queensland for cold, wet and miserable Victoria? Was the romance, suspense and glamour of BrisVegas too much for you?

Nice car !

Hi again.

Thanks for the warm welcome. That's very much appreciated.

Firstly to Wayne McDermott, the reaosn for the move was one of work and also for family. My wife is from Victoria, all her family is here, so when we started a family, it was a no brainer.... almost. I love the cooler weather also.

Thank you also admin team for the upgrade. I will be sure to add my vehicle details to my signature for assistance reasons.

Cheers

Mick
