Smile Long time reader...

It has been relatively easy reading the various threads. Lots of good stuff! Posting will come a bit slower. Been reading for a few years as my wife had an '02 X type. VERY nice but a bit small for me. It was good for her and I was mostly a passenger. That's gone and I have an '05 S Type now. Even nicer and now I'm the driver.
The X Type was a Rocket. The S Type is a Rocket Ship. It's stock with the only mods as tint (at this point). I'm looking at audio, wheels and tires. Pretty conservative. I'm still mostly reading the threads to get some ideas and to figure out the rythem of how things work. There is a lot of good information here and some great pictures! I guess things I want to find out are things like upgrading wheel size from stock 17's, what combination bigger wheel size and new tire size works proportionately from 235/50/17 without getting into size trouble etc. And the audio part not being too very happy with the dual 8 inch subs under the parcel shelf. More distortion than frequency response. But, I like the factory controls and am not going to invest 2 or3 or 4 K for new head units amps and subs. I have a relatively small and conservative inventory of components and tend to be much more of a do it your selfer.
So, glad I'm here! Glad there's a lot of experience out there! Hope to be an active contributor/participant.
