Just wanted to check in and introduce myself to everyone and say I feel lucky to have found the forum.

My recent purchase of an 04 XJ8 with 86k on the clock brings me back into the Jaguar fold after a 3 year absence. I purchased my first Jaguar 1999 at age 21 in the form of a 94 XJS 4.0 Coupe that to this day I regret ever parting with. I went on to own a 90 XJ40, 93 XJS Convertible, 95 VDP, 00 S-type and an 02 X-type 3.0. I am a lifelong Ky resident that is lucky to have a former franchise owner of over 20 years as a close friend whom has mentored and educated me well in regards to the brand.

I'm here for advice, tips, troubleshooting, friends, fun, sharing a few pics and always a good story or two so thanks to all and I look forward to chatting with everyone!

Looks like a great place to swap stories as well....like the time a Schwan's food truck left a 3 foot metal step in the side of my beloved XJS. Or perhaps the time a neighborhood cat became so fond of laying on the hood of my XJ40 when I was visiting his owner that I would give him a ride around the block while he enjoyed the breeze (slow speeds of course. he was completely safe )
