We have just joined this group recently. I would like to contact Member "Dr. Dome" regarding possibly locating a piece for my Wife's 2005 X-type VDP. We have already had great assistance from "Hex Type" regarding our issue with a broken Trunk ( boot ) release button trim. "Hex Type" provided me with a contact number for "Dr, Dome" but feel funny contacting him directly. So if anyone knows him on this forum could you please have him message me. Thank you !
Just a brief background on my Wife's car. She purchased this beautiful British Racing Green X-Typer VDP back in 2006. We located it through an auction search via the Great Britians in Willow Grove PA. When we purchased it in 2006 it had 27.500 miles on it and it was all original. Today this beautiful car only has 39,700 miles on it and is mostly all original aside from a new battery and rear brake assembly this month. It won "Best in Class at the NorthEast Jaguar Concoures D' Elegance back in 2014. I love driving the beautiful piece of machinery on the back road of Chester County PA.
