Default Looking for my first Jag

I am a Canadian (B.C.) and am not a Jag owner yet, but I hope to be soon. There are a lot more cars for sale at much better prices in the USA. I'm hoping to buy a X300 ('95 to '97), preferably an XJR. Has anybody had experience importing a Jag of this age into Canada?
Any advice would be really appreciated.
Thanks,
Andy

Hi,

This seems to be a great forum with excellent qualified advice (thanks, techs). I have decided to buy a 2003 XJ-8 with 77,000KM (49,000 miles)on it. It is a one owner, has been well-maintained and drives like a new car. I am getting an extended warranty and plan to do some 'proactive' maintenance.
I'm thinking thermostat change and maybe water pump to start. Timing chain tensioners should be second generation at least?
Any maintenance suggestions? The VIN is SAJFA14C73LF55410.

Thanks
