Default Looking at purchasing a F Type R

Hi Everyone,
So you have a little back story on me, I have built and owned Hi Performance cars most of my life, I started doing DE in a Dodge Viper and moved to a 911, then to an Evora S and now I have a Cayman S 981 which I have owned for almost 3 years and have not been to a track or autocross event. Which is one of the reasons I am now looking for a GT car more than a track car.
I started looking at GT type cars and have narrowed my search to the F Type R, some of my concerns are the electronics, from what I read online. My other concern is the active safety features, like active braking, never owned a vehicle with this although I did drive my daughters Subaru with the active safety features and had to turn it off.
How intrusive is the active safety features? I assume these features can be turned off, correct? Are the early cars equipped with these features?
I am presently looking at a 2018 with 12k miles and balance of the factory warranty of 16months.

Thank you for any information you can share.
