Looking for series II or III Jaguar XJ-12 in Texas
I have held on to a 79 XJ-12 for many years waiting for the opportunity to revive it. It was professionally converted to a Chevy 350 V8 years ago. I recently retired. I decided the time has come to get in back onto the road. Engine is fine and body is very straight--but interior is completely shot. Floor boards are rusted thru. I am looking for a car that has relatively good (rebuild-able) interior parts and no rust on floor boards. I do not need an engine. I am a new member. I have found a couple of cars that are perfect candidates but are many miles away. I would like to find something within a few hours drive of DFW in north Texas. Would also consider XJ-6 for interior parts (seats, dash etc). I know this sounds nuts but since I have held on to it for so long, I am determined to piece this car back together. If anyone has--or can lead me to a candidate car it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, Larry,
New floor pans front and rear, are available from Summit Racing I think it is, made by Wolf Manufacturing in Canada. I put one in my car, worked pretty well.
Doesn't sound nuts at all! Sounds like you'll have a project for quite a while to keep you out of your wife's hair.
I'll look for you over in our Xj6 Series section where GGG has directed you.
