When I started college, mid 80's, I had a poster on my wall of a pre-HE XJS for motivation. It got lost after a few semesters. Years later a sad ending to a Triumph Tiger put a squelch on my Britt interests. Funny how things come full circle.

Now 25 years later I pick up this rolling XJS to use for suspension parts; however in some respects the rest is not too bad off. Damn, the last thing I need is another project. It was converted to a SBC and I was told it had an engine fire but $100 in parts & 6hrs after it was heaved off a trailer I have it running. It's rough inside and out but it's not as rusty as I suspected and the sheetmetal is straight. It sure is ugly though, I've never seen paint look so bad but the interior is bad-off.

I haven't decided if I'll even get tabs for it since my plan was to part it. I almost wish it was in worse shape to make parting it easier.
