Default Loving the 2012 XF, can't wait to get mine!

Hi,*

I have a 2010 XF Premium that I bought in 2009. *I love the car, but it is like a dumb jock, it's got muscle, looks good and can make a touchdown (i.e. drives extremely well, which is as it should). BUT as with a dumb jock don't try to have conversation with it! Why the ... do I want to look at heated/cooled seats as my home screen?! It's a car I am going somewhere, map should be home screen or have a map button, HELLO!!! I live in Fairfax, VA and drive frequently in DC metro area. WHY do I have to scroll through state to state when they aren't even 20 miles away? Do you know how long it takes to scroll from VA to DC or MD every time?!

Ok, had to vent. *I guess Jaguar heard my gripes and the 2012 XF addressed most of my issues (you still have to go in reverse before the front parking aid sensors will work or you have to remember to hit the button, and no folding mirrors). I test drove that bad boy on Sunday and I just put a down payment to order the cashmere gold with London tan and navy trim. *That navy is hot to death!! They talking bout I have to wait till March, but whateva I dont want to drive my new car in the snow anyway. *I can't wait 'till me and the Jag are eating up the road (insert Jaguar GROWL)!!

Anyway, I joined to figure out how to get the owners manual for the 2012 XF and found out it has Traffic messaging system with the Navigation! *I am too excited!! *Enjoy your weekend!*

Welcome to the forum.

I always thought that front parking sensors are when your head and shoulders give that slight lurch forward.

Good to see a happy camper.
