New member. Just bought a 2001 XK8 convertible and figured it would be a good idea to tap into the FORUM for ideas, social contact, and overall help in keeping this new puppy running the way it is now.

Any FORUM members who also own a 2001 XK8 convertible who have experienced problems that a little preventative maintenance might have helped avoid, I would appreciate a heads up. For instance, every time I tried to retract the driver's headrest to it's lowest position, it would go right back up to the highest position. Some other FORUM member had experienced the same problem and another member blogged how to solve it and Presto I solved my problem.
