My "NEW" XK8
Hello to all in the forum. I recently purchased a 2006 XK8, Carbon Fiber/Victory edition, all black with the dark blue interior. 104K miles. A tag ragged in spots (tires, navigation system, etc.), things that will cost a few bucks to bring it up to snuff; but it's a car my wife always wanted ever since I'm picked her up for a dinner date over 20 years ago in an XKE convertible. I leased a '96 XJ8, and a couple X-Types (really underrated as far as I'm concerned; a really good car), this is our first XK8. Looked at a few 2003-2005 vehicles, but decided on the 2006 because of what it had. Will know in a few weeks how I really feel about it, but looking forward to getting out on the road!! I can see you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
