Hi, I am happy to be able to read all your interesting posts on the forum. I have a 1999 Jaguar Vanden Plas. I purchased this car in 2006. I am the second owner. When I purchased the car it had 13,000 miles on it and I now have 28,000 miles on the speedometer. I have had a number of people stop me in parking lots interested in buying the car but I am really attached to it. My first Jaguar was a 1996 Vanden Plas and I am really impressed with these cars and their smooth rides. I have some concern about the timing chains and was wondering if this is something I should be concerned about right now.
