Default New 2002 xkr owner

Hello all,
I recently bought a misrepresented 2002 XKR on EBay which has a myriad of electrical problems as well as other issues. Knowing nothing about Jags, I thought this would be the most likely site to get advice, opinions and other helpful information in my quest to get this car sorted.
I consider myself competent in the garage having very recently completed a full restoration of a 1988 911 Carrera Targa. Past projects include a bare metal restoration of a 1972 Jensen Healey, VW Golf which received a top 50 at the Southern Worthersee meet in Helen, GA, and VW Golf and Rabbit diesels converted to vegetable oil.
Current projects include a 1974 Jensen Healey restoration with conversion to Lotus Esprit Turbo power and Getrag 5 speed trans and a bare metal restoration of a Euro 1968 DeTomaso Mangusta which has involved producing body panels and other pieces of sheet metal work, and, of course the 2002 XKR.
I will appreciate any and all input not only into the XKR but the other projects in the works.
