Default New 2012 XF Owner

Hi all! I'm new to the forum after browsing for a bit prior to purchasing my new (to me) car. I've owned about fifteen cars in the last ten years but have decided to try my luck with a 2012 XF Base, 5.0. I've owned many competitor type cars including three M3's, CLK55 AMG, Genesis 4.6 most recently prior to this and a few others. I've been in the auto and RV industry for the last 10 years doing finance so after selling handfulls of the XF's and falling in love with the performance of the base setup I decided to pull the trigger on one.

Here's a couple of questions I have for anyone in general before I go spamming the XF forum:

- On 9" front and 10" or 10.5" rear wheels, what is the best offset for a flush fitment? I don't like camber adjustment or any type of tire stretching, so any advice is appreciated.

- What lowering spring is mostly used by members? I always lean towards H&R however I've had luck trying other brands with different vehicles prior such as Vogtland and K&W, etc.

- What are most members running for a tame exhaust system other than what's listed online? The factory piping looks like it's 2.5" already so I'm considering just a resonator delete and a change of mufflers and tip for a mild tone. I don't want anything too insane for volume however I'd obviously like to hear the car a bit more.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum Chris,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

It sounds like you've already found your way to the X250 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
That's the place for all your modification questions.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Lower Atlantic Region forum by following this link US Lower Atlantic - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.
