New around here
Hi I have a 2004 S Type 3 itr Just working my way around some faults.Have drained & replaced gearbox sump oil & filter Ha a thump noise from around rear diff Void bushes worn ( Kit on ebay for this) Changed radio for cheap double din with dab. Current fault oxygen sensor p0037 downstream bank 1 have tried general purpose lamda in this position which cured the fault but left intermitent P 1646 changed upstream with no difference Have changed Down stream for A Denso dox 0429 as Jaguars are fussy about oxygen sensors Looks like I will change the upstream for a Denso one to see if that will cure P 1646 It seems this code can lead you a merry dance. Still have change the P brake motor which I have but have to lower the diff to get at it.

You are correct that S-types are very fussy about engine management components, especially EFI sensors, etc. OE Denso is the way to go with these.
