Default New boy introduction from stevenage

Hi Guys
Just a quick introduction to say Hi, I live in Stevenage Hertfordshire and my TOY is a 2001 black XKR convertible. (currently on Axle stands) being worked on.
I got wind of this forum from a member who said it was a good one to join.
My other hobbies are shooting and radio controlled helicopters when I have time.

Welcome to the forum,

Good to have you with us.
Mmmm, seems like you could combine your hobbies, you could either shoot down the helicopters, probably too pricey, or fit guns and shoot from the 'copter. :-)

You should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Welcome Ian,

Summer's coming and it's time to get the XKR off the axle stands and back on the road. Guns back in the rack and helis on the pad until then.

There's a very active XK8/XKR 1996 - 2006 section on the forum. Plenty of advice and discussion.

Welcome Ian.

RC helicopters huh? Lots of fun. I've been f*rting around with 4ch FP models for about a year or so. We're moving to a new house with MUCH more land (2.6 acres) in June, so I'll probably upgrade to a CP type heli with all that extra room.

Why is your XKR on axle stands?

Hi Guys thanks for the warm welcome
It was Avos that lead me to the forum because of the problem I am having starting my can after being stored over the winter. Top Man
This has given me time to play with my micro heli, I found I did not get the chance to fly my 50 raptor so sold it and turned to micro heli’s I can fly almost anywhere with the same full pitch and cyclic control which has been a laugh.
