She's a 1998 XJ8 VDP with 102,000 miles. Color: Jaguar blue #14

PROBS:
1. Driver side front window does not move! All other windows work. All other functions of the window control (mirror adjust, child lock, seat memory) work. If you know someone in West L.A. that can diagnose & fix this I'll be very grateful.
2. Paint faded on top and boot (trunk).
3. Front bumper chipped and peeling (from bad paint job)
4. Interior auto-dimming rearview mirror is dark from leaked chemical. It also falls of regularly when the going is a little bumpy. If you know a good source of a replacement please let me know.
PLANS
Fix the probs including a full repaint. I'm considering 1Day Paint & Body. Their current price for top line job is $1,394 + $200 if color is changed. Comments?

Charlie at Galpin Jaguar in Van Nuys disclosed their top used parts source...

The owner, Avo, is very knowledgeable and friendly. I went their today and fixed most of the problems on my list:
1. Replaced the interior rear view mirror ($150 installed)
2. Fixed the driver's-side window problem ($250 including replacement controller box and master switch array)
3. Replaced the windshield washer reservoir and pump ($100 parts, $40 installation)
