New classic Jag member in Los Angeles area...
Hey all, I'm Andy, 33 (almost 34) guy here north of LA.
I'm looking forward to being a part of this website, there seems to be a vast amount of knowledge on here. I don't have any plans to mess with the modern FI Jags, but this guy I work for has a V12 HF in absolutely cherry condition, so I might be able to look like I know what I'm doing if he ever asks for help.
I presently have a 65 Stype 3.8 auto and a 58 Mk1 3.4 stick. I haven't owned any other Jags in the past, I've had these for a couple years and am finally getting around to fixing them up. The 65 runs well and I should be driving it soon since the car is tagged and insured.
I plan on selling it to finish paying off another project and get me started on the Mk1 which as it turns out, has a more serious case of the tin worm than I thought. (On an old Jag? Surprise, surprise, huh?). I'd like to work towards making it into a vintage racer like the 58 mk1 "Buy1" seen at Goodwood vintage revival in England.
LOVE that sh*t.
