Hey guys. I got a Jaguar Xtype 2002 3.0. It has about 1600 miles on it. It has a rough idle and starts shaking (vibrating) when I reach speeds of 35-40 mph. It also shakes when putting the car in reverse. I've recently changed all plugs, cleaned MAF sensor and changed fuel filter. Also had an oil change (wife got it while I was at work. Used castrol edge but I think she bought a cheap oil filter). What can be the problem? I want to clean throttle body to see if anything changes.

Hello,
That's incredibly low mileage for a car that's 12 years old! Even 16000 would be low mileage.

Someone in the X-type section might be able to help you sort out your idle.

Welcome from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum kingdivine78,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Follow Norri's link in post #3 to the X-Type forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.
