Default New to forum.

Hello to All,
Iam new at this so I hope I say the right thing. Iam retired but still work in my shed.
I decided I needed a challenge in life so I bought a 1984 V12 XJS Jaguar.
The car is in fairly good condition inside and out if you are looking from across the road with one eye closed and squint with the other
I drove it home, about 50 klms, without any bother but have some work to do in the engine bay.
I will explain this in the proper forum.

Glad to be on board, Neil.

Default Welcome to Jaguar Forums

Welcome Neil . . . and greetings from over the border!

You are joining an active area of Jaguar enthusiasts here in this neck of the woods, and at a time when interest and activities are bubbling along. Others have already linked to the model specific forum, where any technical queries about your beastie can be resolved. I suggest you also jump into the various Aussie regional sections (especially QLD, but also NSW&ACT) to check out recent activity as well as news of upcoming events.

We pride ourselves on being a typically Aussie laid back crowd where first names mingle with lots of friendliness and a liberal dose of irreverent fun. May I suggest you post a "hello" to your fellow members in the QLD roll call thread in that regional section. Tell us a bit more about your Jaguar, perhaps attach some pics . . . you are sure to find ready interest among our other members . . . along with valuable advice about sourcing parts and services locally.

All that remains Neil, is for you to jump in . . . and enjoy.
Ken
