Hello all . . . I have owned a 1997 XK8 for a while now but my transmission is down now
I live in the metro Atlanta area in Georgia and I would really appreciate it if someone can give me advice and direct me to where I can fix my car and make it run again like it used to . . . my budget is limited so i'm open to all suggestion . . .

Check out the regional section of the forum, see if there's an independent mechanic from your area, as Atlanta should have some to choose from.
Also, look in the XK8/r area, many of the early XK8 failures were from a-drum failures, and you can easily get rebuilt parts, as long as the damage from the failure is minimal. There's links in our FAQ section in the sticky on top of the XK8/r thread list, try there, and good luck.
