Hi,

I'm a Welshman living in central FL - been here 21 yrs now. My father and I brought our 4 Jaguars with us when we moved from the UK back in 1987. E-Type, S-Type, 420 and a 340. Two have gone to new homes over the years but I still have the 67 420 and 68 340 Mk2, and drive them regularly, or as much as I can in this humidity! I've alsoowned a few XJ6's and a 96 XJS conv along the way, while my dad had literally dozensof new Jags back in the 50's and 60's. His obsession found it's way to me at a young age! As my name suggests, I'm into the woodwork aspect of these cars, and do this full time, or as full time as it can be with 4 young kids running riot at home ;-)
I'll post a couple of photos when it stops raining here in the sunshine state.

Cheers!

Thanks Mike, heres my 340 Mk2. It was originally beige ambla interior, but we had it retrimmed in leather at Suffolk and Turleys in 1982, andhasheld up very well over the years. Its pretty much original and unrestored car, apart from the foglamps, wire wheels added and the usual things to keep it running nice. Its been ours since 1980, and the engine has never been out or apart for anything. It does burn just a little oil, but runs so sweetly that Id really hate to mess with it!

Edit: Is there a trick to adding pics? They uploaded OK, but never showed in the post.

Wow, beautiful car jagwood. I bet she turns heads when you have it out.

Wood looks great in it. There are posts here and there from people who's wood has given up the finish and bubbles. Perhaps you can keep an eye out for them, search the old posts?, and give them advice or perhaps provide a service if they need. Lord knows refinishing our wood panels are not common.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!

If there are any tips on inserting photos so they show up properly, Im all ears I will get some better pics together this weekend and post them in the proper forum.
Regarding the woodwork, I emailed the moderator about advertising etc, but have not heard back yet, but I'll be happy to answer any questions if and when I see them posted.

Cheers!

Thanks for the welcomeJim. I think I've got the photo thing sorted now - it seems I can just copy and paste right into the message body. Nice and simple!

Cheers!
