Hi... I am new to the forum and recently purchased a 1960 XK150 FHC and want to learn as much as possible about waking the car up and getting it back on the road after a 35 year sleep. I am finally realizing a dream that started back in the 60's when I missed out on a 120 roadster.

Thanks,

Jim

Welcome to this friendly and helpful forum.
I was originally looking for an XK150 but couldn't justify the outlay.
Then I got seduced by the XKR.
I'm sure you'll get all the tech advice you'll need.
As Norri says - lets have some pics. You must take before nad after anyway for your records.

Here's a photo... mostly original paint, 67xxx miles, matching numbers, needs all new rubber, no apparent damage, etc. Need to find spare tire/rim. Looking forward to getting into knowing more about car. Huge temptation to getting it on the road and driving in "as found" condition. Any opinions/suggestions?

Thanks,

Jim

Welcome to the forum.

It has had a 35 year sleep, even I would take a bit of waking up after that.

Don't rush things, you will regret it later.

Enjoy the anticipation.
