I recently joined jaguarforums though I am not new to Jaguar.
My wife and I owned and restored a 1969 XKE S2 roadster silver/red from 1980 to 1985. It was a fabulously fun car to drive and work on. It had 45,000 miles on it when I sold it. We only sold it because child 2 of 4 was arriving. VIN = 1R7555 if any one has seen this car, we would love to know what happened to it.
Fast forward to August 2004 when I bought a 1999 XJ8L gold/tan. Anther great car and dream to drive. 150,000 miles so far. It has had its issue (most significantly transmission replacement), though.
