Hey guys. I'm Rick from SC. Just bought my first Jag....A beautiful 2000 X8 Coupe w/ only 31k. Hope to zip this thing around for years to come.

Already learned a bunch from your posts.

Welcome to the forum RickinSC,

Good to have you here with us at Jaguar forums.

It sounds like you probably already know your way around but if not, follow this link XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XK8/XKR section for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Lower Atlantic Region section by following this link Lower Atlantic - NC SC FL GA - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.

Cool - as you can see you'll find a ton of info/support here. There is a great mechanic in the N Charleston are off of Ashley Phosphate - if you need parts or service (have only ordered parts through him), but good to know there is a reputable repair shop other than the dealer. Might be a little bit of a drive for you but if you want the name - let me know.

sklimii,

That would be great. Please pass along the info. I could use a reputable contact.

Thanks,

Steve,

Took my car to Gerald's today. Their computer says I need a pair of eccentric camber bolts. Checked w/ Advance Auto and no luck. Found two part numbers online JZB100086 -$40ea and JZB100085 - $75ea.
Have you crossed this bridge? Thanks, Rick

This forum is a mine of information!

The name 'Ashley Phosphate' intrigued me and I've been on an interesting diversion learning about phosphate mining in SC.

The eccentric bolts aren't exactly high on the list of regular requirements for replacement.
