New here: Design_Driven's 2006 Jaguar XK
Hi all, I'm new here and to big cat ownership. I live in the UK, but hail originally form the Netherlands. I'm a product/automotive designer so nice cars are a must.
I've been looking for a while at a few models, but because I already have a few SUV's (My beloved 2000 Land Rover Discovery and a Volvo XC90 serving as the family hauler), and a sedan (last of the SAAB's, a 2011 9-5 Aero) I decided to go for a XK. My kids are 11 and 8 so just about fir in the back still. I found a great one with the interior I wanted (light grey, with aluminium). Exterior Indego blue I think. A early 2006, so as a bonus lower tax.
A few blemishes that are being addressed, and a few mods I didn't like being undone. Condenser is leaking and it came with F-type wheels that look great but I want some original wheels, so they are going (and for sale soon)
Replacement coming, system is already emptied
Couple of these small jobs done.
