Default new here thanks already

I found three answers here already. I can do those three things.

I have a few more things to do.

Hope I can do it all myself. Thanks.

The three things I found out how to do so far are (2000 Jag S-Type 3.0 V-6):

- error code for throttle body problem, fix by 1) wd40 on relay contacts, or, 2) replace
- replace fuel filter, there are youtube videos on this. behind fender liner of left front wheel
- hood latch only releases on driver's side. cable from that side to other side broke, someone here explained. remove shield cover under front end, use long socket extension to remove a bolt on passenger side latch, remove another 13mm bolt through hood(bonnet) crack which opens wider with one bolt removed(?)

other probs:

- left rear window slides down. I have aluminum foil duct tape to hold it up temporarily.
- battery randomly discharges. I really don't think I left anything on. I checked face mirror lights on visors, defrosters, radio. Don't know what could be left on.

Welcome aboard.

It looks like you are going about things in a logical way.

I tend to jam iffy windows with old *** packets.

The S Type section guys will help you out.

Good to see you.

Welcome to the forum Try2DIY,

Sounds like successful trying too.

I can see you've found your way to the S-Type tech section so no need for a link.
