Default New Jag Owner

Hi everyone! My 1998 Honda died Friday and I went to a lot to look at a Hyundai Sonata. The Sonata was gone but I drove off the lot with a gorgeous 2002 x-type Jag! How did that happen????? Unfortunately, my euphoria was short-lived as many people were too quick to tell me what a mistake I made because "repairs on this car will cost a fortune!". I am not wealthy and have also been unemployed for the last 9 months. Is it true the repairs on a Jag cost a fortune? I did an Internet search and compared parts prices between Honda and Jag - did not see much difference. Also, I was told not to do full synthetic oil changes but half/half. Is this correct? Finally, where in the manual do I find how to reprogram my fob (the car came with only one fob)? I just want the fob to work to open/close locks and open the trunk. Thanks so much in advance!

Welcome to the forum,

Went to see a Hyundai Sonata and left with an X-Type. Things are getting better already!

Jaguar repairs only cost a fortune if you don't have the right information. Head over to the X-Type section for all the information you'll need.

Default Thanks!

Thank you, everyone, for the warm welcome! I have added my info to my signature. How do I find the x-type section? I am new to blogging and still trying to navigate this forum.
