New Jag owner
Hi I am new to the world of Jags. I just picked up a 1986 XJ-S V12. I am very excited about the chance to work on something a little different. I am from manitoba canada and there aren't many of these cars around here. First question, when I picked up the car the old owner was boosting the car and it was turning over fine. I told him to stop so I could get it home and check it over but now when I put in a battery the car won't turn over at all. All I hear is a clicking noise. I am new to these cars so I am learning and ant help would be great.

Welcome to the forum,
Good advice from Norri. Follow his link to the XJS section where you'll find other members with the same model as yours. They'll give plenty of help on troubleshooting the starter / charging issue.
