Hey guys just wanted to say hello before delving into the forums. I recently purchased a 1998 XJ8 VDP black 140k on it. I love it, what a great freeway machine! Beautiful, comfortable, and powerful. There are a few things I need to do in order to make it perfect though. Thanks for the wealth of useful information.

Sounds like you're enjoying the VDP. Follow this link XJ ( X308 ) XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum for help and advice. A good place to start is the HOW TO section at the top of the threads there.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
