I joined the forum about 3 weeks ago to do some research on Jag models and took delivery of my 2001 XJ8 about a week ago. I had a 1983 XJ6 several years ago and have always loved the regal elegance of the lines. My new Jag is Titanium in color with a few nicks and small scratches here and there, decent tires and brakes and everything seems to be working. The interior is in pretty good shape and with 90,000 miles it still runs strong and is an absolute joy to drive. I've already learned tons from the forum and look forward to being able to contribute in some way in the future as I relate my experiences. I'm somewhat mechanical and have a buddy that treats me right at the paint shop, so I hope to keep my Jag looking good and running strong for a long time to come.
