Cool New Jag Owner KW11

Just bought a 1997 Jaguar XJ6. Wonderful car. Fun to drive. Have wanted one for a very long time. Price and time were right. Great buy. 222000 on the car, 70000 on rebuilt motor and trans. Happy so far. Everything works.

Welcome,

That's some mileage total. Proves it's been reliable!

Good to hear everything works. Not everyone arrives here able to claim that.

Welcome to the Forum, I joined recently as well, still finding my way around. As others have written 222,000 miles is a lot but these cars will take it. Talking to Mechanic at my garage recently, asked him how long a car can last? he replied "if they are properly serviced, parts replaced when required, in theory they will last forever. Logically he is right. So you have a lot of great miles ahead of you.
As Jaguar say, a Jag has Grace, Pace & Elegance. Enjoy the car

Roger.

Welcome to the forum,

Good to have you with us.
Here's hoping for another 200K.

If you haven't already done so you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.
