Default New Jag owner in S.C.

Hello...I just purchased a 1994 XJS V12 convertible. I have owned many cars, starting back in the sixties. I realized right away that I was going to need help with this baby.
It's in great shape but, there are a few issues, naturally since it is a 1994. I can handle american cars but this is a little different. This car is my retirement toy, and I want to make it perfect again. I'm sure I will be asking a lot of questions on this forum.
The previous owner is in the attached photo. He is a good friend of mine who had medical issues (stroke) and is unable to even drive. That is why he sold me the car. He knew I would take good care of it and appreciate it.

...Jimmy

Is this the 6.0L V12? If so, this car should be a blast to drive. This is the smoothest engine that I ever driven. I have driven V8's from all manufactures even Jaguar. The V12 feels like a turbine and not a car engine.

Jimmy - fyi the British Car Club of Charleston is having their monthly C&C at Mt Pleasant Waterfront Park this Saturday 9AM on the field under the bridge.

Next Saturday 21Nov is Sea Island Cars & Coffee at Freshfield Village from 9-11, trying to get a contingent of JSSC members there followed by lunch
