Am a new member to JF. Currently on my third Jaguar. Previously a 1986 XJ6 Series III Vanden Plas and a 2001 XJ8. Just bought a '02 S-Type 4.0 with 105,000 miles. It seems as if it's misfiring a little. Regapped the spark plugs and put a new fuel filter on. Might also have a coil pack(s) issue.

Welcome from Texas halstead! Don't get frustrated, after that many miles, there's bound to be some air leaks and floundering ignition parts. You'll find all you need for something this minor over in your subforum, where I wager you'll have that misfire licked in under a week! Good luck!
