I always admired Jaguar but never owned one until my wife bought me a 2002 XK8 a few weeks ago as a "gift." I never saw it coming and was completely thrilled/shocked when she did it. Amazing what can be done by a conspiring daughter and wife with a few mouse clicks.

Seemed a huge risk to buy a vehicle based on pictures and Carfax only. An Ebay used dealer in suburban Philadelphia got it from a GM dealer in California. Best I can tell it was a lease/loaner through about 7500 mi, and serviced by Haron Jaguar, Fresno, CA, until May 2014 and 41,500 mi. It appears all scheduled maintenance has been performed as well as miscellaneous additional repairs.

Now it's in my garage. Made the about 180 mi trip from Philadelpha with zero problems, warning lights, service messages. Three joy rides since arrival and many more to follow.

Thanks to all concerned for an incredible website. I'm not a mechanic and have utmost respect for those who keep these beasts purring, growling, and attacking (the road). Looking forward to Jaguar adventure with help of the forum.
