New to the Jaguar World
Hello all,
My name is Amber and I recently purchased a 1996 XJ6 (white) in August of 2012 with about 110,000. I opted to buy it because the exterior and interior were in great condition and it still has the original motor in it as well which my father said is a real plus. I have a 1999 Ford Explorer XLT as my daily driver and I purchased the Jaguar with a small auto loan because the payments are low enough for me to finish the work on my I have to do on my higher miles "Exploder".
About two months into having the Jaguar it started with even more goofy things that are going to need tweaking, and so here I am!

Welcome to the forum Amber,
Always good to see a white one. We never get that colour in the UK.
Follow this link XJ X300 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X300 section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
Enjoy the forum.
Graham

Hi Amber:
Very nice to have you with us. Congrats on the purchase. You've picked a nice car. I hope it treats you well for years. Actually, barring the catastrophe that I suppose can happen to any car, if you take care of the Jag, it will take care of you as well for many, many years. I bring you greetings also from the Midwest Region, from which I hope you won't be a stranger.
Enjoy the drive!
Scott
