Hi, I'm Tony 27, living in Northern Ireland. I have had my X type 2.0d for just over 4 years and been a regular guest on the site. Not sure why I havn't signed up until now but better late than never. Was on 206 forum for several years and know how valuable these forums are.
Just finished servicing my car today with 160,000 on the clock. Quick question I'm hoping someone can help me with. I've ordered new headlight adjusters and am going to remove the front bumper. What would be the best option:
Have the car set on axle stands or drive it onto two car ramps. Basically do the wheels need to be off the car to remove the bumper?

Welcome to the forum Tony,
Good to have you here with us at Jaguar forums.
Guys in the X-Type forum will be able to give the details on front bumper removal but, as the wheel arch liners have to be removed, I'd expect taking the wheels off to be the easiest approach.
You probably already know your way around here but if not, follow this link X-Type - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the UK Region forum by following this link UK - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in our region.
Enjoy the forums.
