Hi Im new to the site and have only recently got my first Jaguar. It is a 2002 X type With a 3.0. Unfortunately Im having issues getting it started. Hopefully someone on here might have some tips. Thank you

2002 X Type wont start
So I recently got a 2002 Jaguar x type. it is a 4 door with the 3.0 under the hood. For some reason I cant get it to start I have checked fuses, relays and even replaced the starter. When I put the test light on the posts on the back of the starter one is getting power constant but the other is getting nothing even with the key in the start position. Any tips would be greatly appreciated

I've merged your two Intro threads together but left the duplicate post about the non-starting in X-Type forum. Please do not make identical posts in different sections. It actually lowers the chances of replies!
I know you've found your way to X-Type tech section so there's no need for a ,link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
