Hi everyone, been following loads of info on the net from this forum so thought i,d give you guys call. Firstly you may get to think that what i am in the process of doing may be sacralidge and i wouldnt blame you!!!. I am in the process of converting a 1999 jag xj8 into a pickup for advertising the services of our well reputed garage in Bournemouth. This going to be a professional project carried out by our own mechanics and bodywork specialists. i would be really gratefull for any tecnical help you could give me throughout the build. We have already installed a new metal structure frame before we take the roof off and will come across many tech issues in the very near future. I shall post a few pics shortly to show what were doing. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers Mark

Welcome to the forum Mark,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

The XJ8 has been converted into Convertibles (the superb Corsica Project) and Hearses so a Pickup is just the next step. Be interested to see photos of the conversion.

Follow this link XJ ( X308 ) XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X308 forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK Region forum by following this link UK - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in this country.

Enjoy the forums.

Hello, Mark,
Some may feel your project is sacrilege, but it's YOUR car, therefore YOU have an absolute right to do whatever you want to do with it.

I would be interested in seeing pictures of the ongoing project. I'll even pop over to take a look once in a while.
Welcome from ElinorB.

Thanks to GGG and LnrB for their comments, look forward to interesting info from you all, trying to insert a photo of the car but this requires a URL address, the photos on my downloads with no url address, any ideas?
