hello from hot, dry (scorched, actually) and brittle southern california.
we're in pacific palisades, up the hill from gladstones at pch (rt 1) and sunset blvd. new to jaguar. last british machine was 1973 mgb in college in 1978.
our 2004 xj8 is in great shape - low miles and will be our weekend trip / project car. project 1: new shocks and springs and tires (i am not a mechanic and decided to test myself by taking on the air suspension conversion challenge). the neighbors have placed bets. time will tell. project 2: supercharger (my girlfriend/sig other likes fast machines).
happy to be here and share our experiences of an exquisite car brand (once the new shocks and springs are in and proven to work).

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
