Good Afternoon everyone,

I'm Jase and am new to this forum, and the Jaguar although I've always wanted one.

I live in Adelaide, South Australia. I have recently bought a project Jaguar with my Father-In-Law, intent was a fix-er-upper though this car is in better condition than first thought. (Despite an engine start issue addressed on this site).

It is a 1976 5.3 V12 XJ. Original 106,000km - (have the old MPH original gauge and documents to verify). No rust and always garaged. Has been reprayed once in its life, doesn't look too bad I think. One original owner since new, so it wasn't a bad buy.

Welcome from me,good to see another Aussie here.

Must be good for a change to find a car is actually better than first thought, usually the opposite. Certainly looks the goods. And an XJ12. Hope you get on well with the father in law..

Look forward to the post when you get it finished. Plenty of help on here no matter what Jag you have.
Best of luck,Neil

Welcome to the forum Jase,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Follow this link XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues. You'll also find the XJS V12 owners are very knowledgeable on the engine and it's sometimes temperamental electrics.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the Australia - South Region forum by following this link Australia - South / NT - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Welcome to the forum.
It always amazes me how often the family dog sneaks into a car or garage pic.

Hello, Jase,
I have a particular soft spot for the Xj6 series II. I'll look for you over in the Xj8 section.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
